Auxiliary

The primary objective of the Auxiliary is provide the company with support for it to succeed at its mission. The Wallkill Hook, Ladder & Hose Auxiliary has a mission to aid both financially and socially to the firefighters of the Wallkill Fire Department while in their persuit of life safety, incident stabilization and enviromental/property preservation.

The Auxiliary is the division of our department which includes our wives, mothers, daughters, brothers, sisters and fathers. Along with members of the Community, all working together to help the department members.

Our Auxiliary is on call 24/7 in case of emergencies, working fires, signal 10 and stand by work due to bad weather or special requests by the Chiefs Office.

The Auxiliary responds to our firehouse to prepare food and drinks for our members working on scene. These members are the support division of our department, and supply a vital piece to this orginazation.

The Auxiliary is a hard-working and invaluable part of the Wallkill Hook, Ladder & Hose Company. Men and women both are welcomed to be members of the Auxiliary.

Meetings are the first Tuesday of every month at 7pm.
