The Galeville Bridge will be closed beginning April 10th. There is no timeline for reopening but as this is a bridge replacement, usually that’s a 6-9 month timeframe that is dependent on weather.

The annual New York State Burn Ban began yesterday, March 16, and runs through May 14. Conditions for wildfires are heightened in springtime when most wildfires occur. The annual ban has decreased spring wildfires by nearly 43% since it began in 2009.
